Go Nessie hunting at Loch Ness, visit the Monster Museum at Drumnadrochit and onto Urquhart Castle. Visit the site of the last battle on British soil at Culloden.

Outdoor Activities

There are lots of paths and trails to explore all around Druid View that are suitable for walking, running and cycling. Not far from our location you can easily access Inverness, Aviemore and Lochaber (The Outdoor Capital of the UK)

You will be spoilt for choice for land based activities like; walking, running, cycling, down hill mountain biking, golf, stalking, shooting, fishing, pony trekking, rock climbing, ice climbing, quad biking, 4×4 tours and so much more.

There are also lots of water based activities available from; swimming, fishing, boat trips, canoeing and Kayaking, Gorge walks, canyoning, sailing, white water rafting… the list goes on.

For those visiting in the winter months there is some great skiing, boarding, sledging and ice climbing opportunities available.

Wildlife

Surrounded by countryside, the area is a mecca for wildlife. Bird spotters and wildlife enthusiast will really appreciate the variety of plants and animals that are native to the area. There are some truly great photo opportunity to anyone with a keen eye and a love for wildlife.

There is also Dolphin spotting at Chanonry Point at Fortrose on the Black Isle.
